a year ago today…..

I was here…..

Squam Art Workshops

It was a glorious couple of days.

As time passes, I find myself wanting to return even more. Maybe next year. *I hope*

If you are in the area, you should definitely check out the Art Fair this Saturday. It is amazing. Truly. So much creative goodness. And if you do visit…. take a peek around because somewhere you will see this:

I donated a lovely spindrift quilt for the raffle. It was my own little way of being there.

Are any of you going this year?

Oh Squam.

How I love thee….

  1. I do suppose getting married is a wee bit more exciting than Squam? *insert wedding music, do-do-do-do* I'm so excited for you. I can't wait to see pictures. And I hope we meet again at Squam…. maybe next year? *fingers crossed*

  3. Oh Amy, have a wonderful trip. I had so much fun last year. Totally star struck by bloggers I've admired forever. And truthfully too shy to say hello…. it's an inspiring place to be. It does something to you inner creative. I'll be looking for photos!

  4. Last year was my first Squam, too. Had no idea what I was getting into, but it was magical. The love and creativity ooze from every nook and cranny. It’s been on my mind alot the last several days, I’ll be missing it this year too. Maybe next year?

  5. I’m living vicariously through Amy this week. One day . . .
But I think Squam by the Sea is the one calling me.
I’m thinking about doing my own at home creative retreat for the next three days. Instead of packing and driving/flying, I’ll cook and clean around here, then take the next three days to write, do yoga every morning, paint with the girls, read, relax, and take lots of photos.
    Totally ignore the messes.

  6. This is exactly my plan for this summer. A break from the regular routine and a chance to get into some good habits that nourish my soul. Enjoy your retreat Michelle 🙂
