  1. Isn’t Taproot a lovely read?
The last novel that really got me: The Dovekeepers by Alice Hoffman. I love when I learn a new bit of history–however wrenching–while reading a novel, and I have always enjoyed Hoffman’s writing.

  2. I just finished Last American Man, by Elizabeth Gilbert (excellent!) and Wild by Cheryl Strayed (so excellent) and am reading The Snow Child by Eowyn Ivey, a novel that takes place in Alaska (loving it)

  3. Ayuvedic Cooking for Westerner by Amadea Morningstar. It was a surprise sent by someone I met last week. She said it is a favorite of hers and wanted to share in honor of the vegan month course. It’s a very interesting read.
